The Rushford Environmental Education Camp is for youth ages 12 to 14. Camp Rushford is the only DEC camp specifically designed and built as a conservation camp. A week long stay provides each camper with the opportunity for hands on learning with hunting, fishing, pond explorations, forest, and general conservation activities.
Campers choose from a variety of optional activities throughout the week that introduce them to outdoor pursuits. Experiences include early-morning polar bear swim, learning to fly fish and canoe trips to the Hanging Bog, hunter safety course and much more.
