Here we are facing a brand new year and the challenges it brings! Winter seems to have settled in, but we know Spring is right around the corner.  2009 was a very good year for the club. Our membership has jumped to 485 members and we continue to have guests interested in joining. 

            The 2009 year allowed the club to give back quite a bit by making some updates for the club and its members.  This winter the club spent some time remodeling the downstairs.  The bar area is now complete! The small bar upstairs was overhauled completely by adding many new features such as lighting, countertops, decorations and wood work.  Stop in and check out the updates. 

            The club would like to recognize the remodeling crew and give a special thanks for the work of John and Elaine Sobczyk, Regis Biore, Jim Pierce and Jackie Hull.
       
                 
            A new boiler was installed this summer to help keep the place toasty in the winter.  The club also purchased a new computer to help keep up with the times. 
            The club was able to take advantage of the current rebate for energy efficient appliances and purchased a freezer.  The freezer will help the club with all the functions held throughout the year. 

The 3D archery range will re-open June 1st. The cost will remain the same as last year - $4 for club members and $8 for their guests. Kids 16 and under are free with an adult member. A season pass is also available for members for $40.      

Remember the gun range, 3D archery range and our two stocked ponds are for your use.  Please remember the ponds are stocked for catch and release use only.  As members, you’re entitled to use them all.  The club is a great place to introduce your kids or grandkids to outdoor sports. If you do, take some pictures and we’ll put them on our website.

            The recent gun raffle was a success.  Ticket sales became a competitive sport within members.  A special thanks to our top ticket sellers, Pat Burns (78 tickets sold), Daryle Piotrowski (68), and Kim Parker (58) for going the extra mile in ticket sales!  

 

We sold enough raffle tickets to add four extra guns to the raffle!  Winners included:
